Kyrune opens as kyrune.com and kyrune.red
Kyrune now runs as two sites on one account: kyrune.com for a general audience and kyrune.red for adults.
Kyrune now has two homes. kyrune.com is the main site for a general audience, and kyrune.red is the 18+ site. They share accounts, so you sign in once and you are the same member on both.
What changed
Each site has its own address, its own sign-in page and its own look. kyrune.red uses a red accent and its own version of the logo, so you can tell at a glance which one you are on.
The first time you open kyrune.red, an entry page asks you to confirm that you are 18 or older. You can also choose to leave.
How the two sites differ
- kyrune.com shows flagged posts only to a signed-in member who has turned on their own sensitive-content setting.
- kyrune.red shows flagged posts to everyone and has no sensitive-content switch.
- Both sites run the same checks that protect minors. A prompt that asks for sexual content involving minors is refused on every site, before any picture is made.
Sign-in and email
Each site is treated as its own place for sign-in security. A passkey you create on kyrune.com works on kyrune.com only, and a passkey you create on kyrune.red works on kyrune.red only. If you use both sites, add a passkey on each one from the account page.
Emails follow the same idea. If you ask for a verification link or a password reset from one site, the link takes you back to that site, and the message carries that site's name.
Good to know
- Your account, and the products you use with it, are the same on both sites.
- Signing in with Google or Discord, and the hand-off from Discord, keep you on the site you started from.
