Faster K Agent and exact credit charging
K Agent queues your next image sooner and opens chats faster, and every image job is charged exactly once.
This update makes K Agent feel quicker when you run several images in a row, and makes credit charging exact.
What changed in K Agent
- K Agent queues the next image sooner, before the current one has finished, so a run of images has less dead time between pictures.
- Each turn makes fewer round trips to storage.
- Switching between chats is faster. Chats you have opened are kept ready, a placeholder shows while one loads, and chats are fetched ahead of time.
- Mini K, the panel next to Generate in Image Gen, got the same speed work.
- About sixty smaller fixes to K Agent and Mini K came with the same update.
What changed in credit charging
Every image job is now charged exactly once, and each change to your credits is written to a record.
Your credit balance used to be updated in a way where two jobs finishing at the same moment could overwrite one another's charges. Credit changes are now applied one at a time, and card, crypto, promo and gift credit changes all go through the same record.
A promo credit refund was also fixed in the same update.
What you need to do
Nothing. Run K Agent as you always have. A long batch of images is where you are most likely to notice the difference. Your balance on the account page and the charges for your jobs should simply line up.
Good to know
- This changes how charges are recorded, not what a job costs.
- If a charge ever looks wrong, the record lets us trace exactly what happened to it.
